The 23rd annual Golf Tournament, entitled 'A Drive for the Cause', is being organized 2010 at the prestigious Club de golf St-Raphaël on June 21, under the presidency of Mr. Peter Comito Sr, president of Selectcom Telecom, and the honorary presidency of Mr. Tony Loffreda, Executive Vice-President of RBC Banque Royale. This Tournament was a great success.

The Annual General Meeting of the Italian- Canadian Community Foundation (FCCI) was held on Wednesday, June 15, 2010 in the splendid Salon des Gouverneurs of Montreal’s Centre Leonardo Da Vinci.
Following a delectable cocktail, the forty governors in attendance discussed the various activities organized by the FCCI during the 2009-10 calendar year. Following the report presented by FCCI president Mr. Carmine D’Argenio, fellow governors congratulated the members of the Board of Trustees for the great success achieved during the year. During this period, the FCCI welcomed 32 new members and redistributed funds to numerous nonprofit organizations across Quebec.
Four members of the FCCI board were re-elected unanimously and the Board of Trustees for 2010-2011 is composed of:

The Board of Governors is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Giampà as Director General of the Italian-Canadian Community Foundation. She brings to the foundation a varied and comprehensive professional and academic background.
Ms Giampà has been a successful entrepreneur, university lecturer and consultant. She has extensive expertise in financial management, strategy formulation and operations management. Over the last decade, she has been involved in new venture creation, real estate management and business consulting. She also worked as a freelance journalist and university lecturer. She has also held numerous board and advisory positions with business and non-profit organizations.
Anna developed her 'entrepreneurial backbone' growing up in family businesses where she was always surrounded by strong role models. She has an inherent appreciation for the synergistic relationship between people-driven initiatives and process-reliant goals.
Anna is a graduate of McGill and Concordia Universities. She holds an MBA degree from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia, 2003), an undergraduate degree in Anatomy & Cell Biology (McGill, 2000) and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Concordia, 2009).

After the success of last year, the Italian-Canadian Community Foundation (FCCI) would like to invite you to the fourth edition of its Texas Hold’em Poker Night on Friday March 26, 2010 at the reception hall Plaza Volare (Hotel Crowne Plaza, 6600 Cote de Liesse, Montréal). The organizers, Mr. Enzo Reda and Mr. Peter Pomponio, and the honorary President, Mr. Aldo Vicenzo, have chosen 60 Groove as the theme of the evening in order to bring us in a 1960s mood. The Italian-Canadian Community Foundation would like to thank the organizing committee and its presidents, as well as the generous sponsors as official partners of the night.

We are pleased to inform you that the FCCI is holding its 23rd annual Golf Tournament on June 21, 2010 at the prestigious St-Raphael Golf Club. The tournament, titled “A Drive for the Cause”, will be presided over by Mr. Tony Loffreda, Executive Vice President of the RBC Royal Bank. The organizing committee foresees a considerable turnout and a very pleasant and entertaining day!
In 2009, the initiative helped raise $180,000 which was distributed among many not-for-profit organizations in the health, education and cultural sectors of the Montréal community. The organizing committee is counting on your support to meet and hopefully surpass this amount.
